Solan 15 October
The D.Pharmacy students of L.R. Institute of Pharmacy, Solan visited the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Sultanpur, Solan (H.P.) on 15th October 2026 under the guidance of Prof. Avneet Gupta, Principal, LRIP.The visit was accompanied by faculty members Ms. Poonam, Ms. Sheetal, Mr. Ram Gopal, and Mr. Vinay.
Ms. Babita Bhardwaj, Pharmacy Officer, PHC Sultanpur, facilitated the visit and briefed the students on the functioning of the PHC and the role of pharmacy services in patient care.The students observed patient registration, OPD activities, medicine dispensing, drug storage, and maintenance of health records. They also learned about the rational use of medicines and the availability of essential medicines.
The visit helped the students connect theoretical knowledge with real healthcare practices and understand the importance of primary healthcare.It was an informative and enriching experience.
