Hamirpur, October 30. At the HPTU Sports Meet 2025, the girl athletes from Gautam College of Pharmacy, Hamirpur (HP), brought laurels to the college and the entire district with their outstanding performance. The athletes won hearts with their hard work, dedication, and discipline on the field. In the Judo competition (girls category), the Gautam College of Pharmacy team performed brilliantly, defeating GPC Nagrota to win the gold medal. This victory brought a festive atmosphere to the college campus, and the winning athletes were welcomed with joy. In the girls’ chess competition (girls’ category), college student Isha Sharma displayed excellent strategy and patience, securing third place. Her performance further enriched the college’s medal tally. Additionally, HPTU won the Carrom Girls’ Doubles competition. In the match played between Hamirpur and Gautam College of Pharmacy, Hamirpur, the Gautam College team maintained a commanding lead and achieved a resounding victory. These three achievements of the college proved that every goal can be achieved through dedication, discipline, and team spirit. College Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay, said that the athletes have brought glory to the college with their exemplary performance.
