To benefit the millions of devotees in South Himachal, the helicopter landing has taken place successfully on Churdhar Peak. Although, a few years ago, devotees were rescued by helicopter, but the landing can not take place. This trial has been successful due to the efforts of Shimla Administration.
After taking off from Shimla heliport, the helicopter landed in Kalabagh of Churdhar peak in about 12-15 minutes. Congress Organization Minister Rajneesh Khimta had hired a chauffeur from a private company. Deputy Commissioner Aditya Negi, Chaupal SDM Narayan Singh Chauhan, Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Khimta and DFO were also included in the flight from Shimla to Churdhar. The trial of 6 seater chopper has been successful.
