A cabinet meeting will be held at 12 noon on Saturday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. In the meeting to be held at the State Secretariat, action taken against three senior officials in the case of the death of Power Corporation Chief Engineer late Vimal Negi will be discussed.
The government has currently sent Additional Chief Secretary Omkar Sharma, DGP Atul Verma, and SP Sanjeev Gandhi on leave. The opinion of all the ministers will also be taken regarding the next action to be taken against them. In the meeting, the filling of vacant posts in various departments and the budget announcements of the chief minister will be approved.
