The Himachal Pradesh government will take a loan of Rs 800 crore. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Finance Department in the gazette on Friday. This amount will come into the government account on June 3.
This loan is being taken for 20 years. The state government will repay this loan by June 4, 2045. The reason given for taking the loan is that it will be spent on developmental works. After paying the salaries and pensions of the state employees, an additional loan has to be arranged for the balance of the treasury.
