The cultural and religious program organized by the Himachal Pradeshiya Sabha in Reg. Gyaspura, Ludhiana, did a commendable job of connecting the expatriate Himachali community with their roots, traditions, and cultural heritage. The program was presided over by Mr. Shyam Lal Dogra, President of the Jaspura Block.
Attending the event as the chief guest, Rajiv Rana, State Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress (KKC), said that it is crucial to keep Himachali culture, folk traditions, and religious beliefs alive among the expatriate Himachalis. He added that such events are a powerful means of connecting the new generation with their culture, values, and social values.
Rajiv Rana said that Himachali culture is a symbol of brotherhood, hard work, simplicity, and harmony, and organizations like the Himachal Pradeshiya Sabha are playing a vital role in preserving and promoting it. He said that the Himachali diaspora living in various parts of the country, including Punjab, has created a distinct identity through its hard work and culture, and it is our collective responsibility to maintain it.
Following the program, the provincial assembly organized a grand Mother’s Awakening, a wonderful confluence of faith, devotion, and cultural consciousness. With Mother’s Awakening, a message of spiritual energy and social unity spread throughout the atmosphere.
Dimple Rana (President, All India Kshatriya Mahasabha Punjab), Rajesh Ratna Bhardwaj (President, Himachal Parivar Sangathan), Ashok Thakur (District President, Himachal Provincial Sabha), Anil Dogra (General Secretary) along with many dignitaries, social workers and a large number of people from the expatriate Himachali community were present in the program.
At the end, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all the guests, associates and the people present.
