Shimla, April 28, 2026:
The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered a reshuffle in the administrative setup, issuing transfer and posting orders of several HPAS (Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service) officers with immediate effect. The notification was released by the Department of Personnel (Appointment-IV).
According to the official order, multiple officers have been assigned additional responsibilities:
Sharwan Kumar (2008 batch), Executive Director, H.P. State Civil Supplies Corporation, Shimla, will also hold the charge of Director (Personnel & Finance), Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd., Shimla.
Jagan Thakur (2012 batch), Managing Director, HIMFED, has been appointed as Additional Chief Executive Officer of Baddi Barotiwala Nalagarh Development Authority (BBNDA), Solan.
Anil Kumar (2013 batch), Additional Secretary (Revenue), will also hold the charge of Director, Estates, Himachal Pradesh.
Anupam Kumar (2013 batch) has been appointed as Registrar of H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur, on a substantive basis.
Dr. (Maj. Retd.) Avaninder Kumar (2014 batch) has been posted as Additional Director at Dr. Radha Krishnan Government Medical College, Hamirpur.
Bhanu Gupta (2018 batch) has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Tourism & Civil Aviation, Himachal Pradesh.
Additionally, Priya Nagta (2019 batch), currently serving as Joint Chief Executive Officer, BBNDA, and on maternity leave, has been directed to report to the Department of Personnel (Pool), H.P. Secretariat, Shimla, after completion of her leave.
The government stated that the reshuffle aims to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve coordination across departments.
