Hamirpur: The Youth Festival 2026 of Himachal Pradesh Technical University will be organised from March 6 to 8. This year, the three-day cultural extravaganza will be hosted by Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET), Shahpur.
Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Dean Academics of the Technical University, informed that such cultural activities are conducted to ensure the holistic development of students from engineering, pharmacy, and management streams. The Youth Festival is being organised with the same objective this year as well.
The university has directed all affiliated engineering and pharmacy institutions to make necessary preparations for participation. Major events during the festival will include group folk dances, group freestyle dances, patriotic theme-based group dances, solo dance performances, skits, dramas, mime acts, and traditional folk presentations.
The Dean Academics further stated that all affiliated colleges have been asked to confirm their participation and inform the host institution by March 1.
