The Indian Association of Muscular Dystrophy (IAMD), in collaboration with Shoolini University, is organising the Muscular Dystrophy Conclave 2024 from May 11.
The two days conclave will be organised at the Integrated Muscular Dystrophy Rehabilitation Centre, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
Distinguished panelists, including leaders in medicine, science, and genetics such as Dr. Sameer Bhatia, Dr. Alok Bhattacharya, and Dr. Shefali Gulati, will lead the conclave.

The Conclave 2024 will serve as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and is aimed to unite physicians, scientists, healthcare professionals, patients, and their families. The event will facilitate discussions on a range of critical topics such as genetic insights, the navigation of India’s healthcare landscape, and emerging therapies. It aims to empower families, share personal experiences from Muscular Dystrophy warriors, and explore innovative treatment approaches.

In addition to knowledge sharing, the conclave will highlight the importance of patient registries and the role of NGOs and healthcare institutions in improving epidemiological insights. The event will also address the barriers hindering access to advanced treatments in India, advocating for better affordability and policy support.
