Revenue, Horticulture, Tribal Development, and Public Grievance Redressal Minister Jagat Singh Negi today inaugurated the seminar and exhibition on the legalization of cannabis cultivation and its medicinal use at the historic Gaiety Theatre.
The cabinet minister said that the state government is committed to realizing the concept of a drug-free, prosperous, and happy Himachal. In this context, a special seminar and exhibition has been organized on the industrial and medicinal use of cannabis through seminars and exhibitions.
During this period, the Revenue Minister visited the exhibition organized by various companies and gained information about various products from hemp cultivation. During this period, he also learned about various nuances and problems.
Presentations were made by various corporate stakeholders in the event on topics such as Uganda Cultivation Project, Medical Hemp Business, hemp ecology planning related to industrial innovation and medicinal uses of hemp. Ltd., Bhavik Vipul Shah from Think the Himalayan Hemp Incorporation, Kanika Sood from India Hemp & Cannabis Network, Dr. Rashmi Punhani & Anil Kumar from Pi Hemp Pvt. Ltd., Siddharth Gupta from Indian Hemp Store, Delzad Dololiwala from Bombay Hemp Company, Government Advisor Advocate Deven Khanna gave their detailed presentations.
