Janak Raj MLA Bharmour constituency paid a courtesy visit to NHPC Chairman and Managing Director Bhupendra Gupta in New Delhi.
During the meeting, he submitted a memorandum seeking employment for project-affected families of the Duggar Hydropower Project in Pangi and NHPC Phase II and Phase III projects in Bharmour.
He also urged NHPC’s support for establishing a Kendriya Vidyalaya to ensure a better future for the region.
Gupta responded positively, expressed his agreement with the demands, and assured full cooperation.
