The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Club of Jaypee University of Information Technology organized the “Vocal for Local” event on 4th, 6th, and 7th October 2025 at the Open Cafeteria.
The event aimed to promote local craftsmanship and support women artisans from Chausha Village, who showcased handmade products like candles, diyas, soaps, baskets, and decorative items.
With the participation of over 600 students, faculty, and staff, the event received an overwhelming response, boosting the artisans’ confidence and sales.
It also strengthened the bond between the university and nearby rural communities,high lighting the importance of self-reliance and sustainable development.
