Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) has signed an MoU with Aether Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. Mohali in the month of Sept, 2023. This collaboration intends to address the industry Academia Gaps while providing the graduates with a head start by exposing them to the semiconductor industry process and practices. It is also to ensure that the students who cross the Academic and aptitude requirements do not lose out due to the lack of foundational skills and temperament required by the semiconductor industry.
This MoU will be instrumental in facilitation of joint research and training activities. The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, JUIT and Dr Jai Prakash Bajpai, Position Director, Aether Semiconductors Pvt Ltd. Under this MoU important initiatives listed are Elective Courses for Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science, Industry experts’ knowledge & training programs, Skill development focused specialized courses for CSE and ECE, Semiconductor Industry R & D Project Collaboration, Funding agencies approved project submission for MTech & PHD students and explore the viability of setting up the lab at JUIT
This MoU was coordinated by Prof. (Dr) Rajiv Kumar, HoD, Dr Harsh Sohal, Associate Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering Dept, JUIT in presence of Mr. Ankush Syal and Sameep Kumar of Aether Semiconductor.
