Copper wires valued at Rs 1.10 lakh were taken from the Jal Shakti Department pump house in the Dochi neighborhood of Jubbal by thieves. The water supply in the Badhal area has been interrupted as a result of this theft event, which occurred on the evening of March 14. On the allegation of Assistant Engineer Jubbal Narendra Bhagta of the Jal Shakti Department, a case has been filed at the Jubbal Police Station. The burglars targeted the pump house on Bishkalti Khad and took pricey copper wires from there, according to the police report.
However, the police have begun an investigation and filed a case under Sections 331(4) and 305 of the Indian Penal Code. Police believe that this heist, which involves the theft of valuable metals, may be the work of an organized gang. The CCTV footage from the nearby locations is being examined by the police. According to Jal Shakti Department Assistant Engineer Narendra Bhagta, the pump house will shortly undergo the necessary repairs.
