Kavya Gautam of Mayana Village, Dhundan Arki, bagged the 1st position in Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing at Atal Medical Research University, Mandi. The Himachal Pradesh Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing is a state-level nursing exam organized by AMRU, also known as Atal Medical and Research University.
Kavya’s scores not only reflect her dedication and hard work but also her attitude towards challenges. Kavya completed her education till 12th from Government Model Senior Secondary School, Dhundan. She did GNM from Murali lal Memorial School and College of Nursing, Solan, and then did this two-year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course. Currently, she is taking coaching from Balaji Nursing Academy, Chandigarh.
This achievement is the culmination of years of focused study for Kavya. She comes from a family where no one is in the medical profession. Her father, Anil Kumar Gautam, works as a teacher at Saraswati Vidyalaya Darlaghat, whereas her mother is a housewife. Despite having no one from this profession, her success not only brings glory to her family but also to the entire region. This success also gives a new identity to all the girls who want to be like her.
Work, and you’ll get what you need; work harder, and you’ll get what you want, is what Kavya believes in her life. For her achievement, Kavya says, “My achievement is not only mine, but that of my teachers, grandparents, and parents, who are always there to guide and inspire me.”
MLA Sanjay Awasthi congrats on her achievement and wishes the best for her future. He says it’s a glorious moment for our region and we all should proud of her.
