Lakshay Convent School, Manjyat Arki, celebrated World Heritage Day with enthusiasm, aiming to instill awareness among students about the preservation of cultural heritage and traditions.
The programme began with a special assembly where students highlighted the significance of the day and emphasized the need to protect historical monuments and cultural values. They shared insights about iconic heritage sites such as the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, and the Gateway of India, enhancing awareness among their peers.
A range of activities including poster-making, slogan-writing, and quiz competitions were organized, witnessing active student participation. The campus was adorned with creative displays reflecting India’s rich and diverse cultural legacy.
Cultural performances, including traditional dances and skits, added vibrancy to the event while conveying the importance of preserving heritage. Teachers also guided students on their role in safeguarding cultural assets for future generations.
