Darlaghat, September 26, 2026: Students of Lakshya Convent School, Manjyat, put up an impressive performance at the Arki subdivision-level Children’s Science Congress held at Government Senior Secondary School, Darlaghat, on Saturday.
The competition saw participation from students of 74 schools across the Arki subdivision.
Class VIII student RV secured first position in the Junior Science Activity, showcasing her scientific aptitude and analytical skills. With the achievement, she has qualified for the district-level competition.
Another Class VIII student, Kalpita, secured second position in the Junior Mathematics Olympiad, adding to the school’s achievements at the event.
School Principal Dr Kusum Gupta and Chairman Dr Prem Lal Gupta congratulated both students for their performance and wished them success in their future academic pursuits. The school also acknowledged the contribution of their parents and teachers in guiding and encouraging the students.
The school expressed confidence that RV would continue her strong performance at the district-level competition and bring further recognition to the institution.
The achievements were attributed to the students’ hard work, dedication, talent and the guidance provided by their teachers.
