The last date for online application for Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST-2027) to be conducted for admission to vacant seats in class 9th and 11th in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya for the academic session 2027-28 has been extended to October 22, 2026.
According to the information issued by Roshan Lal, Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Theog, District Shimla, the Principals and Headmasters of all the Higher and Senior Secondary Schools under District Shimla have been requested to ensure that this information reaches the students in their schools, so that maximum eligible students can apply online by the due date.
If there is any error in the online application form, it can be rectified from October 23 to 25, 2026.
For online application for the entrance examination, the link for class 9th students is available https://cbseitms.nic.in/2026/nvsix_9 and for class 11th students the link is available https://cbseitms.nic.in/2026/nvsxi_11 .
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya administration has requested all the concerned schools to encourage eligible students to avail this opportunity.
