Shimla
With the onset of monsoon in Himachal Pradesh, heavy rains are continuing. The Meteorological Center Shimla has issued an orange and yellow alert for seven consecutive days of heavy rain in the state. On the other hand, floods in Jahalma drain in the Udaipur subdivision of the Lahaul-Spiti district have caused a lot of damage. The heavy debris and water in the drain have severely damaged the irrigation schemes in the area. Pipes of drinking water schemes have been washed away. Many trees have also come under the grip of floods. This has created more danger for the continuously sinking Lindur village. Land erosion is taking place due to floods in the Jahalma drain. This has increased the risk of the speed of collapse of the hill of Lindur village.

During this period, a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued in many places. On 22, 23, 25, and 26 June, most places will receive light to moderate rain.
