A one-time registration (OTR) system will be implemented in the Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission. In such a situation, candidates will no longer have to upload their certificates on the commission’s website again and again. The application is considered complete when the formalities of uploading certificates during the application are completed. It will be mandatory to upload the certificates of minimum qualification by filling out the required column. These certificates will be safe in OTR like a Digi-Locker. While filling out the form, the category number of the certificates saved in OTR will have to be entered.
The State Selection Commission has prepared the blueprint of the system. In principle, approval has been received from the Chairman of the Commission for this work. Now the proposal has been sent to the state government for permission to spend. In such a situation, now this system will be adopted by the State Selection Commission in the upcoming recruitments. With this system, the Commission will be able to get accurate data on eligible candidates. In the new system, only those candidates will be able to apply whose qualification documents are complete. There is also a provision to link the facility of DigiLocker in the OTR system so that documents can be taken online from DigiLocker. This system will be completely online. Candidates will not need to take any kind of printout.
There is a plan to get this work done by the Electronic Corporation of Himachal Pradesh Government. A proposal has been prepared in this regard by Narendra Kumar, Deputy Director IT, Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission. As soon as the approval is received from the government, the recruitment process will be started with this new system after completing the technical formalities.
