Hard work and determination are essential to make life successful – Harshvardhan Chauhan

Industry, Parliamentary Affairs, and Labor and Employment Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan said that providing quality education to every student is a priority for the state government. Chauhan was addressing the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony-2026 at Pinegrove School in Dharampur, Solan Assembly constituency, today.
Harshvardhan Chauhan said that hard work and determination are essential for success in life. He encouraged students to set goals and work towards achieving them with determination.
He stated that the state government is taking positive steps to provide quality education to every student. He added that while a plan has been developed to provide modern education to children from the first grade onward, courses such as artificial intelligence and drones are being introduced at the ITI level. He added that this government decision is proving helpful in advancing students in this competitive era.
The Industry Minister stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, various schemes have been launched to ensure a brighter future for students. The Chief Minister’s Sukhashray Yojana is one such scheme. Under this scheme, destitute and helpless children have been granted the status of “State of the Children,” and the government is taking full care of them. Under the scheme, children receive ₹3,000 per month as pocket money, along with funding for education, coaching, housing, land, marriage, and start-up grants.
He said that under the Chief Minister Sukhashray Yojana, so far an amount of about Rs 6,89,451 has been provided to about 204 beneficiaries in Solan district under social security.
The Minister of Labor and Employment also shared with students the importance of reading books in the age of social media. He said that while staying connected to technology is essential, knowledge gained from books remains with us forever and provides us with complete information. He encouraged students to engage with books, newspapers, and other creative activities.
On this occasion, Harshvardhan Chauhan also honoured the students who performed excellently in various categories and wished them a bright future.

Sharma, IPSC Trust Director Pramod Sharma, Gyan Bharti School Delhi Director Lata Vidyanathan, Pinegrove School Executive Director Captain A.J. Singh, Pinegrove School Governing Board Member Joginder Bajwa, Pinegrove School Dharampur Head Sanjay Chauhan, Pinegrove School Subathu Head Captain Renu Sharma, teachers, parents and students.
