Shimla: BJP state leader Avinash Rai Khan said that politics is a mission for Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and not a profession. He said that when the youth joins the BJP, the strength of the BJP increases and the BJP gets new energy from the youth.
He said that today India is the youngest country in the world and the youth power here is leading India and the entire world. Similarly, Yuva Morcha is also the read and future of BJP.
India’s workforce has increased under the leadership of Modi ji. Today India has recorded the lowest unemployment rate in 6 years. 6% in 2017-18, 5.8% in 2018-19, 4.8% in 2019-20, 4.2% in 2020-21, 4.1% in 2021-22 and 3.2% in 2022-23. This in itself shows the growing power of India.
Unemployment rate for persons aged 15 years and above The rural unemployment rate is projected to be 5.3% in 2017-18 and 2.4% in 2022-23. The difference is clearly visible.
Urban unemployment rate to be 7.7% in 2017-18 and 5.4% in 2022-23. Top-3 states with unemployment rate higher than the national average: Himachal Pradesh 13.8%, Rajasthan 11.7% and Chhattisgarh 11.2%.
The Central Government has decided to form an autonomous organization named Mera Yuva Bharat (My India). Its objective is to awaken the sense of service and duty among the youth and utilize them in the interest of the country and society. This body will act as a comprehensive enabling mechanism driven by technology for youth development and youth led development while providing equal access to youth. The primary objective of My Youth India (My India) is to create a whole of government platform for youth development. By accessing resources and connecting with opportunities, youth will become community change agents and nation builders.
