Sukhu government will go to villages from Monday to speed up preparations for Lok Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh. From January 8 to February 12, the government will run programs open to the public. In this regard, instructions have been issued to all cabinet ministers, chief parliamentary secretaries and Congress MLAs.
During this, clusters of villages will be formed and communication will be done with the beneficiaries of government schemes. Efforts will be made to solve people’s problems on the spot. To launch this scheme, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will be in district Hamirpur on January 8 and 9. The Cabinet meeting held on the first day of the New Year under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister has given approval to start the Government Village Door Scheme in the entire state from January 8. Under this, village visits will be conducted till 12th February.
The government has taken this decision in view of the Lok Sabha elections. Under this scheme, all the Congress MLAs will go to their respective constituencies. The problems of the people will be heard and the policies and programs of the government will be communicated to the masses. This scheme has been started to reach every household with information about the three election guarantees completed during the last one year. In areas where there are no Congress MLAs, Congress candidates contesting the assembly elections have been asked to go among the public and create awareness.
