Shimla: After two days of clear weather, conditions are set to change again in Himachal Pradesh, with the Meteorological Centre in Shimla forecasting rain and snowfall in the coming days.
A yellow alert has been issued for districts including Chamba, Kangra, Kullu and Mandi, where strong winds of 30–40 kmph are likely.
Snowfall, Avalanche Warning
Weather conditions in higher reaches are expected to remain unstable till March 28. While tourist movement continues up to the North Portal of Atal Tunnel Rohtang, authorities have issued an avalanche warning for areas above 2,700 metres in Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts due to melting snow, increasing the risk of landslides.
