Shimla: Road restoration and metalling work affected by pipeline laying under SJPNL’s 24×7 pressurised drinking water supply project has resumed following the end of the monsoon season.
SUEZ has started restoration work in Ambedkar Colony in the Lower Dhalli ward. The work will subsequently be taken up in other areas of Shimla where roads were affected by the project, officials said.
According to SJPNL, road restoration work had been disrupted due to rainfall. With weather conditions now improving, the affected roads are being restored on a priority basis.
SJPNL has urged residents to cooperate during the restoration work and exercise caution near construction sites to ensure that the work is completed safely and smoothly.
