Kailash Federation chairman says Sukhu government is bringing alleged scams from BJP rule to light

Kailash Federation chairman Baldev Thakur on Tuesday alleged that the Congress government, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, had begun exposing alleged major scams from the previous BJP regime, leaving Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur and several other BJP leaders “restless”.
Baldev Thakur alleged that cases related to the Covid-19 period, paper leak incidents, the police recruitment case, alleged irregularities in the Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission in Hamirpur and alleged financial irregularities under the Himcare scheme were now coming under scrutiny.
“The layers of alleged corruption during the BJP regime are beginning to unfold, and this has created panic among BJP leaders,” he claimed.
Launching a sharp attack on Jai Ram Thakur, Baldev said the Leader of the Opposition was resorting to “drama and political theatrics” inside the Assembly to establish himself before the BJP high command.
He alleged that instead of raising issues concerning the public, Jai Ram Thakur was wasting valuable time in the House.
The Kailash Federation chairman said the Sukhu government had taken several welfare-oriented decisions for the people of the state and claimed that the Congress government’s work in the education and health sectors had strengthened public confidence.
He further claimed that the people of Himachal Pradesh had faith in the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and would once again elect the Congress to power.
“The BJP’s politics of alleged falsehood and loot will be completely rejected by the people,” Baldev Thakur said.
