Shimla
The weather has become dry in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh. The higher reaches of Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti districts, including Rohtang Pass, received heavy snowfall. This change has been brought about by the western disturbances. In Kullu district, the sky has been cloudy since morning, and the cold was more than before. Due to the fall in temperature, snow is falling in the higher peaks along with Rohtang. Farmers and horticulturists have been waiting for the rains for a long time. Other districts, including Kullu, have been reeling under drought for three months.
According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, there is a forecast of rain and snow in the higher areas of Chamba, Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Kangra and Kinnaur from today till December 3.
