Shimla, March 1: A week-long software training programme for Community Resource Persons (CRPEP) under the Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) concluded at the auditorium of the Development Block Mashobra.
The training was conducted under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) framework to strengthen grassroots entrepreneurship initiatives. Block Development Officer Mashobra, Ankit Kotiya, presided over the closing session.
State Anchor Amit Singh from the Indian Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmedabad, imparted software training to CRPEPs to enable them to prepare effective business plans aimed at promoting rural entrepreneurship.
All staff members of the Block Development Office and NRLM personnel participated in the programme and motivated CRPEPs about the objectives and benefits of the SVEP initiative. Officials highlighted that the programme plays a significant role in promoting entrepreneurship in rural areas and generating self-employment opportunities for economically weaker sections.
Participants were encouraged to make maximum use of the scheme and actively work towards fostering entrepreneurship in their respective areas.
