Suraj will compete in wrestling and judo, while Saurabh will compete in taekwondo at the state level.
Shimla, October 10. Two students of Government Senior Secondary School Mashobra have been selected for the state level competition in the district level under 14 students category minor games sports competition held at Taklech Rampur Bushahr last evening. Sports in-charge Nandlal Sharma said that Suraj Verma, a student of Mashobra school, has brought laurels to the school by winning gold medal in wrestling and silver medal in judo at the district level and Saurabh Verma has won first place in Taekwondo. He said that Suraj Verma and Saurabh Verma will showcase their talent in the state level competition to be held in Mandi Canada in the coming days.
Nandlal Sharma said that similarly, in the district level Under 19 girl’s category indoor competition held in Duttnagar last evening, two girls from Government Senior Secondary School Mashobra had the best performance in the Under 19 boxing competition. Both these girls Vijay Laxmi and Aanchal Negi live in Balika Ashram Mashobra. In which Vijay Laxmi won silver in 70 kg boxing competition and Aanchal Negi won bronze in 48 kg boxing competition. Principal Dr. Anita Gupta gave her best wishes to the meritorious players of the school and wished them a bright future. Dr. Anita Gupta said that the name of the school has been glorified by the excellent performance of these players.
Two students of Mashobra School will showcase their strength at the state level.
