Rampur, October 26, 2026: Vigilance Awareness Week 2026 commenced at Rampur Hydroelectric Station on Monday, with a series of activities aimed at promoting integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical values in the workplace. The week will be observed from October 26 to November 1 under the theme “Probity for Prosperity.”
The campaign aims to promote integrity and accountability in public life while encouraging an ethical work culture and strengthening efforts to prevent corruption.
At the inaugural ceremony, Project Head Vikas Marwah administered the integrity pledge to officers and employees. The participants pledged to uphold honesty, transparency and integrity in their duties and contribute towards building a corruption-free organisation.
Following the pledge, a vigilance awareness quiz competition was organised for employees and contractual workers. Participants from various departments took part enthusiastically. The competition aimed to enhance awareness of vigilance-related policies and procedures and encourage ethical conduct and good governance.
Addressing the gathering, Marwah said integrity, transparency and accountability were fundamental to the smooth and effective functioning of any organisation. He emphasised that this year’s theme highlights the role of honesty and ethical values in organisational growth and prosperity.
He urged all officers and employees to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity and impartiality, adhere to established rules and procedures, and maintain high ethical standards in their day-to-day work.
A separate vigilance awareness programme was also organised for employees, focusing on workplace ethics, preventive vigilance, transparency and accountability. Participants were encouraged to follow prescribed procedures, maintain fairness and honesty in their work, and play an active role in preventing corruption.
Through these initiatives, Rampur Hydroelectric Station reaffirmed its commitment to promoting integrity, transparency and good governance while fostering a corruption-free work culture.
