District Election Officer Hemraj Bairwa issued orders
Hamirpur 31 October. Voting will be held on November 5 for 5 vacant posts in various Panchayati Raj institutions of the district. Head post in Gram Panchayat Baloh of Development Block Bamsan and Gram Panchayat Jol-Palahi of Development Block Sujanpur, Deputy Head post in Gram Panchayat Chariyan Di Dhar and Lag-Kadhiyar of Development Block Bamsan and Ward No. 2 of Gram Panchayat Kamlah of Development Block Nadaun. Voting will be conducted for the members. Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Hemraj Bairwa has issued some orders to ensure peaceful completion of the voting and counting process.
According to an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, there will be a complete ban on any kind of election meeting, procession, campaign and other public program during the period of 48 hours before the end of voting in the said Gram Panchayats on November 5. . During the same period, there will be a ban on sale and distribution of liquor in any public or private place, hotels, restaurants and dhabas etc. in these areas.
According to another order, there will be a complete ban on influencing any voter or any other campaign related activity and displaying any kind of poster or appeal within 100 meters of the polling station on the day of polling.
The Deputy Commissioner has also imposed a complete ban on carrying weapons inside or around the polling stations on the day of voting. This order will not apply to officers and employees posted on election duty.
The Deputy Commissioner said that strict action will be taken against those who violate these orders and such people may also be fined and punished. He has also appealed to all the voters of the respective Panchayats to exercise their franchise on November 5.
