scathing attack on the Sukhu government
Hamirpur, October 8: Senior BJP spokesperson and former Sujanpur MLA Rajendra Rana launched a scathing attack on the Sukhu government, saying that the current state government has no achievements worth mentioning. It has neither vision nor direction. The government is facing daily embarrassment and is proving completely ineffective in answering the opposition’s questions.
Rana said that the recent scandals have shamed the state, but Chief Minister Sukhu is resorting to hired ponies, on whom the government treasury is being spent like water, to improve his image and discredit his opponents. He said, “Chief Minister, wars cannot be won with hired ponies. Today, neither the government nor the organization is visible in the state; only a few friends of the government are visible among the public.”
Rana revealed that hired operatives have systematically mushroomed on social media to tarnish the image of several BJP leaders, including former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Shri Jai Ram Thakur, popular Dharamshala MLA and former Minister Sudhir Sharma, and Rajendra Rana himself. He said, “The people behind these pages are the same people hired by the government in the name of image building. But they have forgotten that a government built on lies can never win a place in the hearts of the people.”
Rana said that this government has completely lost the public’s trust. No guarantees have been fulfilled, and every segment of society—employees, unemployed, pensioners, women—feels betrayed.
Taking a dig at the Chief Minister’s tours, he said, “The Chief Minister can’t even walk two steps without a helicopter. Sometimes he goes to Delhi without a program, and sometimes abroad. Even in Delhi, instead of staying at Himachal Bhawan and Himachal Sadan, he stays in five-star hotels. The Chief Minister always avoids answering questions about who he meets there and what deals are finalized.”
Rajendra Rana said that the public has now understood everything and in the coming times this government will have to answer for its actions.
