Various activities were organised on the second day of the two-day workshop ‘Skills and Strategies for Career and Competitive Examinations’ organised by the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Government College Kullu.
Approximately 110 students from various faculties enthusiastically participated in the workshop. Experts provided information about national and state-level competitive exams, their eligibility, syllabus, exam preparation strategies, current events, and personality development. Activities such as quiz competitions, mock interviews, and group discussions were organized to develop students’ practical skills. The workshop’s objective was to increase students’ career awareness and provide them with the knowledge, skills, and guidance necessary for success in competitive exams.
At the end of the programme, students who performed excellently in various activities were honoured with prizes and certificates.
College Principal Dr. Rakesh Rana praised the initiative and encouraged students to set goals and move forward with discipline and dedication. Workshop coordinator Assistant Professor Ajay Kumar expressed his gratitude to the experts, saying that such programs help students make informed career decisions and effectively prepare for competitive exams.
