Lakshay Convent School, Manjyat proudly organized its much-awaited Student Lead Conference (SLC) 2026 today, transforming the school campus into a vibrant hub of creativity, confidence, and experiential learning. The event beautifully showcased the institution’s commitment to activity-based education.
The most remarkable feature of the conference was that students themselves led the entire presentation. Through engaging plays, role-plays, and performances, they confidently demonstrated their understanding of academic concepts. Each class presented a unique theme linked to their syllabus, turning classroom lessons into lively and meaningful stage expressions. Their clarity of thought, teamwork, and stage confidence left the audience thoroughly impressed.
Nearly 120 parents attended the programme, filling the school hall with enthusiasm and encouragement. The atmosphere echoed with applause as students delivered powerful dialogues, enacted thoughtful scenes, and conveyed important social and educational messages.
In addition to class-wise presentations, students from various grades entertained the audience with special performances, highlighting their diverse talents and stage presence. To acknowledge their dedication and efforts, outstanding performers were awarded and appreciated, motivating them to continue striving for excellence.
Parents wholeheartedly appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers and praised the innovative teaching methods adopted by the school. They expressed immense pride in their children’s confident performances, adding immense value to the success of the event.
The programme concluded with an inspiring address by the respected Principal, Mrs. Kusum Gupta, who thanked the parents for their gracious presence. She applauded the hard work of the teachers and encouraged students to pursue learning with confidence, discipline, and determination. She also emphasized the importance of respecting teachers, highlighting their vital role in shaping a child’s future.
