Sixteen HAS officers serving in various positions in the state government have gone on a compulsory professional training program. In their absence, 1 IAS and 11 HAS have been given additional responsibility. Also, 1 officer of the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Service and 3 Tehsildars have been given additional responsibility. A notification to this effect has been issued by the state government. The 16 HAS officers going on the training program include Keshav Ram, Joginder Patial, Bachitar Singh, Kapil Tomar, Sonu, Narendra Singh, Pankaj Sood, Gurmeet, Neerja Sharma, Devi Ram, Ramesh Kumar, Shaifali, Ankur Thakur, Om Prakash Yadav, Kiran Gupta, and Jaspal.
Due to this, the government has assigned additional responsibility of SDM Bali Chowki to IAS officer and SDM Mandi Sadar Om Kant Thakur. Besides, HAS and AC to DC Chamba Prithi Paul Singh has been appointed as Additional Director, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Chamba, Assistant Settlement Officer Solan Narendra Kumar has been appointed as AC to DC Solan, AC to DC Nahan Vivek Sharma has been appointed as Joint Director, Dr. YS Parmar Medical College, Nahan, RTO Dharamshala Pradeep Kumar has been appointed as RTO Flying Squad Dharamshala, SDM Sarkaghat Swati Dogra has been appointed as SDM Dharampur. Kasauli Mahendra Pratap Singh has been appointed as Assistant Commissioner (Protocol), Parwanoo, Assistant Commissioner Revenue cum Tehsildar Kalpa Abhishek Barwal has been appointed as AC to DC Kinnaur, SDM Chachiot Laxman Singh Kanait has been appointed as SDM Thunag, AC to DC Shillai Dr. Abhishek Singh Thakur has been appointed as SDM Shillai, SDM Kotkhai Mohan Lal has been appointed as SDM Jubbal and District Tourism Officer Solan Padma has been appointed as MD Jogindra Central Co-operative Bank Ltd., Solan. Himachal Pradesh Secretariat Service’s Under Secretary Education Anil Kumar has been appointed as Under Secretary of Finance. Apart from this, Tehsildar Jwali has been given the additional responsibility of SDM Jwali, Tehsildar Bangana has been given the additional responsibility of SDM Bangana and Tehsildar Teesa has been given the additional responsibility of SDM Tehsildar.
