Chamba
At least three people were reportedly killed after a private bus travelling from Bairagarh towards Chamba met with an accident near Chalunj Morh in Chamba district on Saturday, according to preliminary information.
The bus, which was reportedly carrying six to seven passengers, is believed to have veered off the road and fallen onto another road below. The vehicle was badly damaged in the accident.
Police were alerted following the incident and a team was dispatched to the spot. Rescue and relief operations were underway, officials said.
The exact number of casualties and the cause of the accident are yet to be officially confirmed. Further details are awaited.
