Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Government has promoted 15 Senior Assistants of the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat to the post of Superintendent Grade-II, Class-II (Non-Gazetted) on a regular basis with immediate effect.
As per the order issued by the Department of Personnel on August 7, 2026, the promoted officials are Yoginder Singh, Krishan Singh Mankotia, Jagjivan Ram Sharma, Lekh Ram, Anil Kumar, Sukhdev Singh, Vinod Kumar, Tek Chand, Suneet Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Parveen Singh, Vivek Sharma, Nageshwar Chand, Jagdish Chand and Jagat Ram.
The promotions have been made on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee and carry Level-12 pay in the range of ₹43,000 to ₹1,36,000, along with Secretariat Pay of ₹2,400 per month.
The promotions are subject to the final outcome of CWP No. 11395/2025, Nitin Chauhan & Others vs State of Himachal Pradesh, and the subsequent decision of the state government in the matter.
The officials will remain on probation for two years or until retirement, whichever is earlier. They have also been given the option to exercise pay fixation under F.R. 22 within one month from the date of issuance of the order.
The promoted officials have been directed to submit their joining reports immediately, while their posting orders will be issued separately in due course.
