In a case of ragging in a private university in Solan, the police have also arrested 3 students after an investigation. At the same time, a video of this entire case has also surfaced, in which senior students are sitting in the hostel room and smoking and trying to forcefully make the junior student drink alcohol by beating him. In between, the accused students are also hitting the victim youth.
At the same time, after the incident, the functioning of the university has also come under question because, in the video, students are seen inside the hostel with a bottle of liquor trying to make the young man drink alcohol. Apart from this, students are also seen smoking cigarettes and beedis in the video. According to the information, this case has come to light in Bahara University located in Waknaghat, Solan.
At the same time, after registering the case, on Tuesday, Kandaghat police also questioned the students, the university registrar, and the warden about the matter. The police have made 3 arrests in the case so far. SP Gaurav Singh has confirmed the case. He informed that Karan Dogra resident of Udhampur Jammu and Kashmir, Chirag Rana resident of Balh Mandi and Divyansh resident of Bhota Hamirpur have been arrested in the case.
A student studying in the first year of Bahra University lodged a report in Kandaghat Police Station that two days ago his seniors, final year students, ragged him and took him to their room and beat him up. He told the police that these seniors were harassing him for several days and two days ago they forcefully took him to the room and beat him up, due to which he got injured. Police has registered a case on the complaint of the student and started action.
