A gang of thieves is active in the areas surrounding Chintpurni. In Ward No. 4 of Chintpurni, three suspicious individuals were caught on CCTV camera intending to rob. However, they were carrying sticks and had their faces covered with cloth. They scattered the belongings of a house in Amokaala Pritam Village, but found nothing. Afterward, the thieves also raided Mahashay Basti.
It is being reported that a gang of 10 to 12 people is actively involved in committing thefts in the area. Information has also been reported to the Chintpurni police station. People are guarding their homes, armed with sticks and rods, prepared. A few years ago, robbers entered the house of a businessman’s son with the intention of robbing him and shot him dead.
