400 Panchayat members including 4 Pradhans, 7 Deputy Pradhans were elected unopposed.

Giving information, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer (Panchayat) Mukesh Repaswal said that under the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj General Elections-2026, 4 Pradhans, 7 Deputy Pradhans and 400 Panchayat members have been declared elected unopposed in the district.
He informed that in development block Bharmour, 1 Pradhan (Gram Panchayat Tundah), 2 Deputy Pradhans (Gram Panchayat Nayagran and Garaunda) and 45 Panchayat members have been elected unopposed. 96 Panchayat members in development block Bhatiyat, 1 Deputy Pradhan (Gram Panchayat Cheelbangla) and 57 Panchayat members in development block Chamba, 2 Pradhans (Gram Panchayat Phagdi and Bhatwada), 2 Deputy Pradhans (Gram Panchayat Kuthed and Basoudan) and 67 Panchayat members have been elected unopposed in development block Maihala.
Similarly, 21 Panchayat members in Development Block Pangi, 1 Pradhan, 1 Deputy Pradhan and 61 Panchayat members in Development Block Saluni and 1 Deputy Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Diyola and 53 Panchayat members in Development Block Teesa have been elected unopposed.
The Deputy Commissioner also informed that the head, deputy head and all the Panchayat members have been elected unopposed in the Gram Panchayat Karwal of Development Block Saluni.
