A case of molestation of a minor girl has been registered in a village under the Bharari police station area. According to reports, the incident occurred last night when the minor girl was attending a wedding ceremony in the village. The Bharari police station received information through the emergency helpline number 112 that a man had molested a 15-year-old girl during a wedding in a village within the police station’s jurisdiction. The police acted promptly upon receiving the information.
During the investigation, it was found that the accused, approximately 50 years old, had behaved inappropriately with the minor. A case has been registered against the man at the Bharari police station. Station House Officer Inspector Anoop Kumar stated that a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered and the investigation is underway. He added that the police are thoroughly investigating all aspects of the incident.
DSP Ghumarwin Vishal Verma said that the police are sensitive to such crimes against minors and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
