Out of a total of 2203 voters, 1674 cast their votes.
A total of 75.99 percent voter turnout was recorded in the elections held today for the Nagar Panchayat Arki under the Urban Local Bodies Elections 2026. This information was given by District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Solan Manmohan Sharma.
Manmohan Sharma said that in the Arki Nagar Panchayat, 1,674 out of 2,203 voters cast their votes. Of the 1,079 male voters, 840 cast their votes, and of the 1,124 female voters, 834 cast their votes. Across all wards of the Arki Nagar Panchayat, the percentage of male voters who cast their votes was 77.85, while the percentage of female voters who cast their votes was 74.20.
The District Election Officer said that in ward number 01 Mehlat of Nagar Panchayat Arki, a total of 86.10 percent voting was recorded, in ward number 02 Mianpur 67.55 percent, in ward number 03 Jhinwar Mohalla 69.35 percent, in ward number 04 Chaugan 79.40 percent, in ward number 05 Laxmi Narayan Mandir 77.98 percent, in ward number 06 Tatla Mohalla 74.48 percent and in ward number 07 Sheela Kakar 78.14 percent voting was recorded.
He said that in Ward No. 1, Mahlat, 285 out of 331 voters cast their ballots. Of the 164 male voters, 140 cast their ballots, and of the 167 female voters, 145 cast their ballots. The male voter turnout was 85.37, while the female voter turnout was 86.83.
He said that in Ward No. 2, Mianpur, 254 out of 376 voters cast their ballots. Of the 182 male voters, 127 cast their ballots, and of the 194 female voters, 127 cast their ballots. The male voter turnout in this ward was 69.78, while the female voter turnout was 65.46.
The District Election Officer stated that in Ward No. 3, Jhinwar Mohalla, a total of 233 voters, including 118 men and 115 women, cast their votes out of a total of 336. The male voter turnout was 75.64, while the female voter turnout was 63.89. He added that the number of male voters in this ward was 156, while the number of female voters was 180.
He said that in Ward No. 4, Chaugan, 185 out of 233 voters cast their votes. He added that 103 out of 121 male voters and 82 out of 112 female voters cast their votes. The male voter turnout in this ward was 85.12% and the female voter turnout was 73.21%.
Manmohan Sharma said that there were a total of 218 voters in Ward No. 5, Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Of these, 106 were male and 112 were female. The male voter turnout in this ward was 80.19% and the female voter turnout was 75.89%. A total of 170 voters, including 85 men and 85 women, cast their votes.
He said that in Ward No. 6, Tatla Mohalla, the total number of voters was 192, including 94 men and 98 women. A total of 143 voters, including 73 men and 70 women, cast their votes. The male voter turnout in this ward was 77.66, while the female voter turnout was 71.43.
The District Election Officer stated that Ward No. 7, Sheela Kakar, in the Nagar Panchayat Arki, had the highest number of voters, at 517. There were 256 male and 261 female voters. A total of 404 voters cast their votes in this ward, including 194 men and 201 women. He stated that the male voter turnout in this ward was 75.78, while the female voter turnout was 80.46.
