Annual sports competition begins at Gautam College of Pharmacy Hamirpur
Hamirpur. The three-day annual inter-college sports competition of Himachal Pradesh Technical University began on Wednesday at Gautam College of Pharmacy, Hamirpur. Registrar Kamal Dev Singh Kanwar attended the inaugural sports competition as the chief guest, while Dean Academic Dr. Rajesh Kumar was the special guest. The Registrar inaugurated the competition by lighting the lamp. He urged all players to play the competition with sportsmanship, encouraging them to adhere to the rules of the game and conduct fair competition. 750 players from 24 affiliated educational institutions are participating in the annual sports competition of the Technical University, including 530 boys and 220 girls. This year, the annual sports competition for both boys and girls includes kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, judo, chess, carrom board, table tennis, and pickleball. On this occasion, Managing Director of Gautam College of Pharmacy Hamirpur Jagdish Gautam, Rajneesh Gautam, Principal Dr Sanjay Kumar, Dr Kapil along with professors from various educational institutions were present.
