A leader is someone who knows the way, follows it, and succeeds; in a similar vein, Parima Jaswal, the former DAVIAN of Shimla, was able to fulfill her dream of sitting in front of the renowned Amitabh Bachchan in Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Hailing from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, Parima has lived in Shimla for most of her childhood, where she developed her quiet resolve and academic prowess during every stage of her schooling. After attending Auckland House School until Class 10 and DAV School, Lakkar Bazaar for Classes 11 and 12, Parima graduated from MCM DAV College in Chandigarh and then went on to Himachal Pradesh University to earn her Master of Science in Chemistry.
Parima was raised in a culture that valued education and pushed for tenacity.
Parima has accomplished what many only dream of after five years of tenacious work, audition tries, and unflinching hope: landing a spot on India’s most popular quiz program, Hot seat. Her episode is scheduled to run tonight, October 29.
Parima said, “This moment is not just a personal victory for me, but also a reminder to everyone that hard work pays you.”
