On this occasion, he inaugurated the Patgehar Panchayat Bhawan and congratulated the people of the Panchayat area. He said that fulfilling a long-standing demand, a new Panchayat Bhawan has been constructed for Patgehar at a cost of Rs. 1.14 crore, equipped with modern facilities. He said that interlocking tiles will also be installed in the courtyard of this new Panchayat Bhawan, for which he directed the concerned officer to install high-quality interlocking tiles . He said that in 32 Panchayats of the Kasumpti Assembly constituency, either new Panchayat Bhawans have been constructed or existing Panchayats have been equipped with modern facilities through approved funds.
The Cabinet Minister said that the foundation stones for three other roads were also laid today. A temporary road from Lamba Jubbar to Karyali was constructed using a small amount of MLA funds to provide road access to the villagers. However, this road will now be widened and paved with a full grade, costing ₹1.50 crore. Similarly, ₹1.43 crore will be spent on the construction of the road from Pehla Number Nala to village Gawahi, and ₹3.29 crore will be spent on the construction of the link road from Gajen to Bharari Nala via Ladhoda. He stated that the current government has set a goal of connecting all the state’s villages, both large and small, with road connectivity, and efforts are underway to achieve this. He added that road and building work worth ₹14.58 crore is underway in this area through the Public Works Department alone.
He said that efforts will be made to connect the Patgehar to Jagroti road with the Surala road. As per the villagers’ demand, the villagers should immediately send gift deeds for four or five small roads in this Panchayat so that by constructing these roads, every village can have road access.
He said that given the shortage of drinking water in the villages of the Patgehar Panchayat area, priority will be given to the construction of a drinking water scheme from Charania Khad. He instructed the principal to prepare an estimate for the construction of a new primary school building and send it to the office so that the new school building can be constructed soon.
