Shimla: An Army recruitment rally will be held at Prithi Military Station, Aweripatti, in Rampur subdivision of Shimla district from March 20 to 25, 2027.
A meeting to review preparations for the recruitment rally was held under the chairmanship of Shimla Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap. The DC held detailed discussions with Army officials and representatives of various departments regarding arrangements required for the smooth conduct of the recruitment process.
Kashyap assured the Army authorities of all possible assistance from the district administration and directed officials to ensure that candidates visiting the recruitment venue have access to essential facilities. He specifically stressed uninterrupted availability of electricity and drinking water at the site.
Administration to Keep Watch on Those Misleading Candidates
The Deputy Commissioner said the recruitment process would be conducted in a transparent manner and strictly as per prescribed rules. He directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Rampur, to hold a meeting with concerned departments and security agencies to ensure necessary arrangements at the subdivision level.
He said the administration and security agencies would remain vigilant to prevent anyone from misleading or exploiting aspiring candidates. Candidates would also be sensitised against falling for false information, inducements or promises during the recruitment process.
Kashyap said the recruitment process is also video-recorded to ensure transparency and compliance with the prescribed rules.
Accommodation Arrangements for Candidates
The DC directed officials to ensure adequate accommodation at reasonable rates for candidates arriving in Aweripatti for the recruitment rally. Arrangements should also ensure access to drinking water, electricity and other basic amenities, he said.
He directed all concerned departments to work in coordination and complete preparations within the stipulated timeframe so that the recruitment rally can be conducted smoothly and systematically.
