*Participants will run on the Ridge on January 12, winners will get cash prizes*
On the occasion of Indian Army Day 2025, ARTRAC Shimla will organize a mini marathon on January 12, 2025 at 7:30 am at the historic Ridge.
While giving this information here today, a spokesperson of ARTRAC Shimla said that this event will be held in two categories which will include a 10 km Mini Marathon and a 5 km Run for Fun. He said that youth below 12 years of age and 12 to 18 years of age can participate in the children’s category. Similarly, men and women can participate in the category of below 40 years and above 40 years.
He said that the person bagging first place in the 10 km mini marathon will be given a cash prize of Rs 10 thousand whereas the first runner up will be given Rs 7 thousand and the second runner up will be given Rs 5 thousand. Similarly, the first place winner in the 5 km Run for Fun will be given a cash prize of 5 thousand rupees, the first runner up will be given 3 thousand rupees and the second runner up will be given 2 thousand rupees.
