Shimla, April 25
The Himachal Pradesh Board of Departmental Examination has postponed the departmental exams scheduled between April 28 and May 7, 2026, citing administrative reasons.
The notice, issued from Fairlawns, Shimla, stated that the examinations were meant for multiple categories, including IAS, HAS, tehsildars/naib tehsildars, gazetted and non-gazetted officers, as well as kanungos, patwaris and employees of boards and corporations under the state government.
Officials said the revised datesheet will be uploaded on the MSHIPA website shortly. The decision affects a large number of government employees who were preparing for the exams.
The notification was issued by Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary, HP Board of Departmental Examination.
