Promoting Health Awareness Among Students and Staff
In observance of World Health Day, Bahra University organized a comprehensive Medical Camp on campus, reaffirming its commitment to the well-being of its students and staff. The initiative was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of regular health checkups, preventive care, and adopting a healthy lifestyle — especially crucial in today’s fast-paced world where health often takes a backseat on this occasion a team of Doctors led by SDMO Kandaghat Dr . Sandeepan Bhardwaj were present on the occasion. She emphasised on health awareness and has promised to do this event on regular basis.
At a time when academic and professional pressures often overshadow personal well-being, Bahra University stands firm in its responsibility to provide essential health facilities and guidance to its university community. The camp offered free consultations, basic health screenings, and wellness tips through a team of qualified medical professionals and health experts.
Speaking on the occasion, university Director General Bahra University Mr. Dr.Rajeev Bhagat highlighted the importance of nurturing not just intellectual growth but also physical and mental wellness. “Our students and staff are the backbone of Bahra University, and their health is our priority. Initiatives like these are our way of giving back and creating a culture of health consciousness on campus,” they said.
