Mehtpur (Una).
There was a special excitement at the Rising Star Cricket Academy in Mehatpur when Delhi Premier League and IPL player Pankaj Jaswal visited the academy. He met the training children and provided them with important technical tips on cricket, especially fast bowling.
Pankaj Jaswal is an experienced fast bowler who has played Ranji Trophy cricket for Himachal Pradesh for nearly 13 years. His experience and guidance has provided valuable learning opportunities for the young players at the academy.
Academy MD Dr. Sumit Kumar Sharma stated that Pankaj Jaiswal is a close friend of his and frequently visits the academy to guide the children. He added that having such experienced players is inspiring for the children and gives them a new direction in their game.
Currently, approximately 30 children are receiving cricket training at the academy. Pankaj Jaswal, especially for the bowling kids, explained important aspects such as run-up, line-length, and speed control.
He advised the children to move ahead with discipline, continuous practice and dedication, so that they can make their mark at the district, state and national level in the future.
The trainees of the academy found this visit very inspiring and expressed their gratitude to Pankaj Jaiswal for such guidance.
